A bit of background
My journey began back in 1996 when I graduated from Goldsmith's College with a degree in Fine Art. With my sights firmly set on becoming the next Robert Motherwell, it came as something of a surprise to find myself working as a project manager at the ill fated boo.com three years later.
It was less of a surprise when I found myself working as a web developer after another three years. It may not have been painting but it was solving technical problems and building beautiful things that work well. I'd always loved getting my hands dirty and this was the perfect way to combine my creative background and business experience.
I've worked with a lot of clients since then including a long stint as in-house freelancer with the highly respected Message Digital Design in Brighton. The collaboration with Message was a strong one that resulted in some truly brilliant applications for Rapha Racing and Strutt & Parker, amongst others.
Ever keen to learn new things, I'd begun learning Objective-C during the months prior to the release of the iPhone and the iTunes App Store. When the App Store was finally announced, I realised that this was very much a direction I wanted to go in and I've since shifted my focus almost entirely to developing for the iPhone OS.
In 2009, I founded Cadence Software Limited - a software development company committed to producing first class apps for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
